Yevgeniy has been one of the first to join GAI Group in 2008. The decision to invite Yevgeniy was taken based on his extensive experience in the area of trade defense while working for INTERPIPE (one of the world’s leading pipe producers) as an expert in international trade and trade defense instruments (2004-2008). Prior to that position upon graduation Yevgeniy spent several years in consulting (2003-2004).
In 2003 Yevgeniy graduated from the Kyiv National University of Economics with a master\\\'s degree in International Management (thesis on \\\"Regulation of international commodity markets\\\"). In 2002-2003 he was a participant in the certified program \\\"Commercial diplomacy and trade policies\\\" of the Centre for Trade Policy and Law at the University of Ottawa.
Yevgeniy has extensive practical experience in application of trade defense instruments and trade investigations. Since 2004 he participated in more than 40 anti-dumping and safeguard investigations in the European Union, the Russian Federation (later the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Union), Belarus and Ukraine, representing interests of Ukrainian producers and exporters.
