Ihor Veremii is an Honored Economist of Ukraine, is a 3 rank civil servant and has dedicated more than 20 years to strengthening the executive branch of power in Ukraine. He also spent 7 years working for the private sector, where his responsibilities were tied to manufacturing and commercial activities.
Ihor Veremii has worked for the Ministry of Economy (having started as head of unit then deputy head of division, head of department and up to deputy Minister). During his placement in the Administration of the President of Ukraine Mr. Veremii headed the Economic Department where his main scope of activities included drafting of laws, development of recommendations regarding deregulation, decrease of controlling functions of the executive branch of power Mr. Veremii also served as Head of the Тrade and Economic Mission of Ukraine in the Russian Federation.
As a member of the governmental delegation represented Ukraine in MONEYVAL (FATF regional group). More than 4 years worked as Deputy Head of the Inter-agency Commission on International Trade (providing the work of the Commission on expert level since 2001).
Under new economic reality Ihor Veremii has been representing Ukraine in the subgroup on socio-economic issues of Trilateral Contact Group on peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbass region. Не is also an Adviser of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
